Buy David Bez's inspiring collection of recipes featuring vegetables with supporting pulses and grains, and we'll throw in a free £5 gift voucher. "Brave, bold cooking that puts whole vegetables at the centre of your plate. I want to cook (and eat) it all." - Anna Jones |
More than 100 everyday, plant-based recipes, including many with QR links to online videos. Each recipe in Vegan Love has a vegetable as the star, treated as you would meat or fish – slow-cooked, baked, roasted, pan-fried or grilled - with a supporting grain or pulse.
The recipes are all variations on four key components:
a big veggie (the main)
+ a protein side (a pulse or grain)
+ a sauce or cream or dressing
+ a topping (herbs and crunch)
Many can be cooked in 30 minutes, none use less-than-healthy vegan substitutes and all elevate veggies to the next level, showing how simple and tasty they can be.

The Brazil nuts are tasty, and knowing their sale supports a small local community, makes them even more appealing. The large bags last some time, as eating a few each is sufficient for our nutritional needs.

These are lovely creamy Brazil nuts which pack a lot of flavour. Highly recommended.
Best oats ever. Makes porridge that makes you feel you're loving yourself and excellent for a crumble both sides fruit slice which holds together to pick up and chomp.
I make porridge using half milk and half apple juice, I add dried cranberries for extra sweetness. I sometimes add cinnamon, honey and chia. I add double cream if feeling extravagant! Lovely!
