Originally from Mazarat Tiffah (Apple Hamlet) in the mountains of the Kadisha Valley in north Lebanon, she has over 50 years of experience of family cooking – learning to cook from her mother, mother-in-law, and sisters-in-law, while helping to raise her eleven siblings.

Best oats ever. Makes porridge that makes you feel you're loving yourself and excellent for a crumble both sides fruit slice which holds together to pick up and chomp.
I make porridge using half milk and half apple juice, I add dried cranberries for extra sweetness. I sometimes add cinnamon, honey and chia. I add double cream if feeling extravagant! Lovely!
