Deliciously buttery walnuts, grown at Red Hat Orchards in West Norfolk and hand harvested, sorted and packed by Mathew Warwick.

The last of the 2023 harvest of walnuts from Red Hat Orchards are now available. These remaining nuts are second grade - some have staining on the shells, some are a little smaller, as our photos show - but they're just as good inside.

These second grade nuts are £6.25 for 500g, a saving of £1.25 on the standard nuts.

The walnut trees at Red Orchards were planted in November 2001 with named walnut varieties from Britain, Europe and North America. Varieties grown include Axel, Lara, Buccaneer and Broadview. Each net contains a mix of different varieties - taste the differences!

The trees and nuts are unsprayed. After gathering they're dried outside in the sun before being hand graded and packed.
