Once popular with millers and bakers, Flanders is quite unlike any other British wheat, being soft but with good bread making qualities.
Flanders is a winter-sown medium-straw wheat, grown in Britain in the 1970s and 80s but now almost extinct.
Our Flanders flour is stone-milled in small batches through our own stone mill at the Hodmedod Mill House in Suffolk, from Flanders variety wheat grown by Jeremy Dickin at Oak Farm in Lincolnshire.
Stoneground and wholemeal it retains its full nutrients and flavour and is ideal for baking, pastry and cakes.
Stoneground wholegrain Flanders variety wheat flour is an excellent soft but quality flour, perfect for biscuits and pastries, it can also be used for bread making, especially baguettes (after all it is of French ancestry).

Milled from our wonderful wrinkled peas, this flour has a distinctively grassy and nutty flavour. The especially high levels of resistant starch in wrinkled peas provide excellent nourishment for our gut flora.
Wrinkled peas are mostly grown for freezing but if not harvested in time they go to waste. Not these ones!
This light green flour has a delicate flavour and works well in sweet and savoury baking, just like our Yellow and Green Pea Flours. Try it in batters, fritters, pancakes, bhajis, dhosas or for quick and easy soups, sauces and dips.
We look forward to hearing how you've cooked yours!
Grown at Great Glemham Farms in Suffolk's Alde Valley.

Nutritious Cannabis sativa seeds from British farms, milled and sieved to produce a fine tasty flour that’s 50% protein and 18% fibre. Add to smoothies or mix with other flour for nutrition and flavour.
After pressing for oil the hemp meal is milled and sieved to produce flour that’s full of fibre, protein & other nutrients. The fine flour, also known as Hemp Protein, has a naturally very high protein content of 50% but less fibre than coarse hemp flour.
The contrasting nutritional content of the coarse and fine flour is the result of the protein content milling to a finer particle size than the fibre.
Hemp seeds are the nutritious seeds of varieties of Cannabis Sativa with no psychoactive THC content. They offer an ideal ratio of omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, and are rich in plant-based proteins and fibre.
We're working with the British Hemp Company to offer a range of hemp seed products grown by their network of British hemp growers and processed at their base in Wiltshire.View full product details
