Henrietta Inman now produces small batches of 100% wholemeal bread at the Hodmedod Bakehouse, right next to our Millhouse in Suffolk. Henrietta's sustaining loaves have a complex nutty flavour, keep beautifully and freeze well.
Our Wholemeal Sourdough Selection includes:
1 x Wholemeal Tin Loaf, 800g, Sourdough, Henrietta's large classic tin loaf - 100% wholemeal, superb real sourdough and excellent value.
1 x Wholemeal Rye Loaf, 600g, Sourdough, beautiful dark rye loaf that's rich, soft, has a deep flavour and keeps really well for about 10 days.
1 x Wholemeal Seeded Loaf, 900g, Sourdough, an amazing seeded loaf packed with plant diversity, containing eight different grains and seeds, all grown on British farms.
1 x Wholemeal Four Grain Porridge Loaf, 900g, Sourdough, made from a 'porridge' of our organic Four Grain Muesli Base, soaked over-night and then folded into a wholemeal dough made with YQ Wheat Flour. The muesli, which is made with rolled and jumbo oats, malted wheat, rye and spelt, brings a malty complexity to the loaf.
Henrietta's wholegrain sourdough bread is made with a diversity of wholegrains, including the revolutionary YQ Wheat Flour milled from grain grown at the RSPB's Hope Farm in Cambridgeshire. Wholegrain flours contain all the goodness of flavour and nutrition from the whole grain of wheat. None of the grain goes to waste in the milling process. Sourdough, naturally leavened bread, is good for our guts and overall health. The fermentation process increases the nutrients available and creates very flavourful loaves, which we really hope you enjoy!

A fantastic variety of different types of wonderful breads . My favourite is the Rye
Wonderful fresh bead made from the most delicious flours. Each has their own unique flavour and texture thanks to the additional ingredients. I like to slice up and store in the freezer so I can enjoy the variety as I like. Great value and highly recommend.

Delicious fat creamy beans. I soaked overnight and cooked in the instant pot for 15 mins. Were delicious with salt, pepper, lemon and parsley on a spicy halloumi salad.
Another fabulous loaf from the Hodmedod bakery team. Lots of delicious flavours and some interesting textures, not tried toasted yet but fresh makes amazing open sandwiches with anything we’ve tried so far. Love the plant diversity in the loaf, novel in a bought bread and very appreciated.
These beautiful beans are absolutely delicious. I ate them straight from the pan with a bit of olive oil. After a few hours' soaking, they cooked in less than an hour. Highly recommended!
