Hodmedod Bakehouse's extra large 900g tin porridge loaf is 100% wholemeal, superb real sourdough, packed with diverse grains and excellent value.

Order freshly baked bread to be dispatched on the day selected above* for next-day delivery on the Friday. Orders for Thursday dispatch must be placed by 12 noon on the Monday.

We'll send your full order on your chosen dispatch day. Please note that all fresh bread is now dispatched on Thursday for Friday delivery.

Henrietta Inman, formerly of Wakelyns Bakery and Heart Bakery, now produces very small batches of 100% wholemeal bread at the Hodmedod Bakehouse right next to our Millhouse and Bean Store in Suffolk. Henrietta's sustaining loaves have a complex nutty flavour and keep beautifully.

For this special loaf Henrietta makes a 'porridge' by soaking our organic Four Grain Muesli Base over-night, the porridge is then folded into a wholemeal dough made with revolutionary YQ Wheat Flour milled from organic grain grown by William Tooby at The Fold in Worcestershire. The muesli, which is made with rolled and jumbo oats, malted wheat, rye and spelt, brings a malty complexity to the loaf.   

*Add the loaf to your basket and complete your order as usual. A small number  loaves will be baked to order every week. Orders for Thursday dispatch must be received by 12 noon on the Monday.
