Britain's original bean is the fava bean but other varieties are hard to grow in our climate. We now offer a wider range of organic beans from France, as well as North American & Mexican beans from The Heirloom Bean Co.
We founded Hodmedod to get fava beans (What are fava beans?) back into British kitchens and they're still our core product. We almost always have good availability of split and whole fava beans, as well as roasted beans, canned beans, fava flour and fermented fava umami paste.
