**Please note, our Red Wheat Flakes have a best before date of 23 December 2023**
There’s more to wheat than flour and bread. Different varieties of this staple cereal have distinctive characteristics while flaked wheat makes a versatile ingredient in sweet and savoury dishes. This beautiful red variety, introduced to the UK by the British Quinoa Company, has a high level of anti-oxidant anthocyanins, a red-brown colour and light nutty flavour.
Light and nutty red wheat flakes are beautiful and delicious in muesli, granola or flapjacks. Try sprinkling toasted on salads, baking, or adding to soups & stews for flavour and texture.
Red Wheat grown in Shropshire by Edward Jones.

Best price on beyond best before beans! We have found two pallets of our delicious baked beans in our warehouse with a best before date of July 2023. Given a conservative 3 year shelf life from production (guidelines for canned beans suggest giving them up to 5 years shelf life), these beans should be good to eat for years to come. Our assessment of them is that they are still as good as the day they were produced. Snap them up today for more than 50% off the usual retail price. |
Think baked beans are British? They are now! We use only British-grown fava beans - Britain's original bean, grown here since the Iron Age. Our Baked British Beans are deliciously different, with large meaty fava beans in a tasty tomato sauce.

Organic whole yellow peas are back but we've a few packs of non-organic peas left, available at half-price while stocks last. |
Whole Yellow Peas are the same peas used for Split Yellow Peas but with the skin left on. Rarely found, they have an excellent flavour and firm texture, especially good in curries.

These wonderfully wrinkly peas have a distinctively sweet and grassy flavour. Their especially high levels of resistant starch provide excellent nourishment for our gut flora. Now available at 50% off the usual price for all pack sizes. |
Wrinkled peas are mostly grown for freezing but if not harvested in time they go to waste. Not these ones!
Tasty, versatile and easy to cook, split wrinkled peas don’t need to be soaked and add a sweet, grassy flavour to dips, soups, stews and salads. They make excellent dal too.
We're still experimenting with ways of cooking these peas ourselves but they can be substituted in recipes for other whole peas, especially whole yellow or blue peas. We look forward to hearing how you've cooked them!
Grown at Great Glemham Farms in Suffolk's Alde Valley.
