Our flapjacks are baked to a classic - indulgent - recipe by Gemma Parker at the Earsham Street Cafe in Bungay.

The Earsham Street Cafe has a reputation for excellent flapjacks made to a traditional recipe with butter, syrup, brown sugar, oats and a little bit of ginger and cinnamon. Gemma has given that recipe a twist and used a fifty-fifty blend of our organic rye and oat flakes to bring whole new depth of flavour, as well as extra texture from the rye. Treacly, a little bit chewy, and with a hint of spices, they're the perfect tea-time or coffee break treat.

With their mix of fast acting sugar, slower burning carbohydrates and a little fat, flapjacks are the original cyclists' energy bar too. Pop a few in your pocket for a sustaining snack in the saddle.

Flapjacks keep well; put them an air tight container, store in a cool place and they will last 3 weeks (but who manages to keep flapjacks for 3 weeks?). They freeze brilliantly too.

*Add flapjacks to your basket and complete your order as usual. Flapjacks will be baked and dispatched with other bakery goods on Wednesday and Thursday, choose your preferred dispatch day and order before 9am on Wednesday (NB. Gemma can only bake a limited number of flapjacks each week - they are likely to sell out before Wednesday).
